We need access to pathology services

Problem: We need an efficient way to send pathology test requests and receive pathology test results. We also need to make sure these interactions find their way to the correct patient record.

 

Solution:

With the establishment of our PuttyEnterprise™, we have access to Claydata®’s PuttyPath™ gateway which lets us send lab requests for pathology tests to external pathology service providers. PuttyPath™ also enables the receipt and processing of test results. When results are received, PuttyPath™ communicates with PuttyEnterprise™ to ensure that the results are associated not only with the correct patient record, but also with the specific component of the patient’s record that prompted the request for testing. The éLab™ application acts as a repository for all this lab-related data. This automation saves significant staff time and reduces processing errors.
